Michael Bremer -Trainor  a trained and  very experienced heritage painter and gilder who helped restore Windsor Castle presents a morning session 

on traditional painting graining and  marbling  on 11 September 2022.


Going into the delights of traditional graining and marbling,  reproducing rich  stone and timber effects in paints  and lots more about the 

underlying skills and materials of traditional painting.

The Victorian period was an era where house owners wanted to finish their houses with striking  reproductions of gold, granite, marbles, porphyry and 

exotic and familiar wood grains and bamboo.

There will be some opportunity for practical experience, please wear old clothes or overalls and wear closed toe shoes.
